It's amazing how quickly a credit card company can take action when your credit card is compromised versus when you have any other concern about your account.

I love his music and feel bad he is gone. I was fortunate to see him twice in concert with his own small band
outside, for free where I live. Amazing show...he did guitar solos that left the audience stunned, at least
me!   Also saw the Allmans twice in concert.in Illinois. But the second concert they went acoustic oddly, and didn't
like it as much. At least I had a date.

His son tours, playing their music. I recommend Dickey's CDs The Great Southern band. Has a sad song about Atlanta
in Civil War. There is also a DVD available I got. He was a rough, tough dude, heavy drinker.

 because they are too long for footnotes. Journal doesn't accept end notes that I prefer.

 And it is sent out for review. But not to the author, but he can respond to it.

Apparently it has been for several years now.  I see in looking at its recent history that it was already essentially bankrupt in 2018.  But a consortium tried to take it over and revitalize it.  Apparently they were hoping for federal funding that failed to come through.

The HVAC company that put their campus on the auction block for unpaid bills relented, no doubt because they didn't want to look like the bad guys.  But yes, it's pretty obvious that the school has no money to pay its bills, so no vendors are going to want to deal with it for any kinds of goods or services.  Absent some massive money dropping down out of the sky on the school, there's surely no way to recover.

You sound like a retired engineer of my acquaintance.  When he was a boy walking home from school, he would visit every shop in his small town and try to see what the guys there were doing.  Once they saw that he wasn't going to make trouble, they'd let him hang around and ask questions.  By the time he was in high school the manager of a local welding and machine shop had come to let him have the run of the place and all its equipment to work on any project he wanted.

I try to understand what our repair technicians are doing when they work at the library.  If I can learn something about what's actually supposed to be happening with the different systems, I can ask intelligent (hopefully) questions to help diagnose and prevent problems.  Assuming they can be diagnosed and prevented, which is not always the case.

I have been digging into the music of Jason Molina, limiting myself (for now) to his Songs:Ohia phase and his Magnolia Electric Co. phase. The man released 19 albums in 15 years before massive organ failure from alcoholism in 2013, so it will take a while.

Right now, my absolute favorites is Songs:Ohia's "Didn't It Rain" and Magnolia Electric Co's "Josephine."
