Door decor: lots of cartoons (mostly XKCD, but lots of others).

Yes, me too, although in my case it turns out that Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal (currently) outnumbers XKCD.

Folks, what are some good sources of academic cartoons for door decor? Currently I have representatives from:

xkcd
Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal
Tom Gauld
The New Yorker
The cartoon on this twitter thread about conference Q&A sessions

Second PhD Comics.

Mine are heavily skewed toward math and science.  Here are a few more in those categories, some of which are no longer being updated...
Math with Bad Drawings
S. Harris science cartoons
Spiked Math
Brown Sharpie

PhD comics and one Nancy that defines my existence.  But sadly I've been in my new office for 2 years now and have been remiss on rehanging them.  Maybe for the new school year.

Like many above, several xkcds

For a while, right after I got tenure, I had this on my door. I think one of my students put it up there. I did eventually take it down.

Juvenal

Various New Yorker covers, especially those by Barry Blitt.  Although at the moment a Science cover of a soulful dog seemingly looking right up at you.  I have no dogs, soulful or not.
Cranky septuagenarian

I have an old Blondie cartoon on my door!

mamselle

I'd put the one from 9 Chickering Lane on my door, if I had a door....

It starts with Juliette cataloguing the glares that get her through the day, ending with the glare she gives the members of her department who are running a meeting over time, as she thinks:

"Trim your sails, windbag, you're blowing away my lunch hour!"

Trouble is, I can't seem to find the original.

I'll scan and link it somehow, someday...

Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.

Reprove not a scorner, lest they hate thee: rebuke the wise, and they will love thee.

Give instruction to the wise, and they will be yet wiser: teach the just, and they will increase in learning.

The Doonesbury "teaching is dead" is another classic.
One of the benefits of age is an enhanced ability not to say every stupid thing that crosses your mind. So there's that.

Not quite sure which one you are talking about, but I always liked this one I'll work for food

Sadly, we are not allowed to post anything on doors or walls, not even the sacred office door cartoon. One of my favourite things about strolling academic hallways is seeing what people post for fun and I am quite devastated at the lack of humour in our hallowed halls.

I shall watch this thread closely and borrow cartoons for my computer backdrop. :)

A useful definition of fascism, that.

Dark humor that generally had nothing to do with academics. This was one of my favorites (I'm retired, btw): https://www.reddit.com/r/me_irl/comments/5t1lbn/me_irl/
