Have finished a successful first week of teaching wellteen to drive, after one behind-the-wheel lesson from the pro. So far, so good! We also did a college drive-by looksie trip over spring break and, so far, he likes two of the fine public options in our part of the state, which is great.
One of the benefits of age is an enhanced ability not to say every stupid thing that crosses your mind. So there's that.

Gosh, this has been quiet. Wellteen is now a happily licensed driver and, as of yesterday, has his first college acceptance. He's pretty excited about the latter, which is good, as this final year of high school is being a rough ride.

Congrats to Wellteen on both accounts!  Our grandteen is a freshman in college so I’ll have a chance to serve how he’s liking it in 2 days. Also had a rough last year but seemed eventually to weather it ok.
