Is there really a market for https://www.cnn.com/travel/article/bus-journey-overland-adventures-london-delhi/index.html ?

Well, they say that they've already had thousands of inquiries.

If this works out, maybe we'll start seeing bus tours up the Alcan Highway, the Pan-Am Highway, etc.
All we like sheep have gone astray
We have each turned to his own way
And the Lord has laid upon him the guilt of us all

This makes my butt hurt just thinking about it. I like to drive and have driven cross country well over a dozen times but I am always very happy to get out of the car at the end...

Wahoo Redux

I am utterly astounded that anyone anywhere would be willing to be confined for any amount of time with any amount of people at this particular moment.

That said, before the pandemic I would fly round-trip anywhere from two to five or even six times a year from the Rust Belt to the west coast.  Flying doesn't scare me at all, but I absolutely dread the whole experience because it is so stressful and uncomfortable.  I really hate the airlines.

So if I was inclined to travel, maybe this wouldn't be so bad.
Come, fill the Cup, and in the fire of Spring
Your Winter-garment of Repentance fling:
The Bird of Time has but a little way
To flutter--and the Bird is on the Wing.

Parasaurolophus

My brother-in-law would probably be pretty into it.

I can't even imagine.
I know it's a genus.

I can't believe that the link does not have map. I want to see the whole route!

But then again, I'm the type who has pondered the Trans-Siberian Rail trip.

The route from Delhi goes through Myanmar, so the route is not an obvious one.

Exactly why I want to see a map!

They did not say what percentage of the people asked to be put on a list to be notified when tickets are ready for purchase and what percentage were just doing information gathering to put a 'get a load of this new craziness' post on their social media feeds.

For map, see

https://bustolondon.in/route/

There are shorter ways to Bishek, for sure. Maybe this is a safer route? Avoids yeti trails through the Himalayas as well as closed borders and hot wars where roads are  bigger.
