Tai Chi
« on: April 29, 2022, 07:56:43 AM »
I am doing tai chi from Silver Sneakers, a site for old farts.  I prefer to be called an old fart than to be called elderly.  Unfortunately, Silver Sneakers is limited in tai chi, and where I live, if I mentioned it, I would be directed to the local Chinese restaurant.  The nearest classes are 75 miles away,

Sooooo...Might anyone recommend a beginner tai chi DVD?   I prefer DVD as internet access here is....iffy.

Don't know of any, but it's a beautiful movement practice.

A modern dance instructor I had in the 70s used to include sequences in her warm-ups.

Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.

Reprove not a scorner, lest they hate thee: rebuke the wise, and they will love thee.

Give instruction to the wise, and they will be yet wiser: teach the just, and they will increase in learning.
