Made a (wholly) nominal start on the marking.

The hatchling was up at three, so I expect today is a write-off.

Managed to edit a thing for my side-gig, and wrote ~750 words. Only a thousand left to go! At this point, the intro is as long as the book it's introducing. But what the publisher wants, the publisher gets.

I finished a draft of chapter two for book project #2 today.

Tomorrow I should focus on the book chapter with colleague that we're contributing to an edited volume, if I can muster the will to do so. If I can't bear to do that, then there are a few other tasks I could turn to instead.

Today, just a bit of grading, reading for intro additions, and reading a paper I'm refereeing (it looks good so far).

This was another 3 a.m. kind of morning, though, so who knows.

No graading, but did the rest and added 300 words to the intro.

Kwell, today I actually have to shelve the other stuff in favour of grading. Alas.

Made a dent, and managed a little bit of translation intro tinkering. Somehow, there are only 600 more words to go.

Annoyingly, there's an IRB meeting today. So I'll accomplish that, and hopefully a tiny bit of grading.

I got the last book from the library I need as background for writing my book, so hopefully I will have that read and can get rolling next week on writing!

Almost done with one class' worth of grading. Did a spot of reading for the intro; I think I've found what I need for my last 600 words, although, annoyingly, I think there's an additional longer section I might need to write.

Today, I'll finish that grading.
