Good morning!

Pangrams and above genius, but don't think I can come up with any more words today.

Missed oocyte.

charm/movability

Happy solving!

cathwen

Good morning!

Pangrams and almost at Beta, but now completely flummoxed.  Yesterday my last word was bocce, and I got oocyte only with 2LL help.

LB:  I also had charm-movability.  No 2fer yet today.

Happy puzzling!

ciao_yall

QB, needed a hint for bootee. Of course, I did try bootey.

LB chroma-availability.

Happy solving!

Good morning!

Got to genius with the two pangrams.  Yesterday we didn't have team QB, needing Shunn for help with byte, oocyte.  I was also missing decoy(ed), toyed, and I think that's it?

I had the schmofficial archival-lobotomy.  Congrats on all the solutions!

Happy solving!

Langue_doc

Good morning!

The pangram, my last word, took me to QB. All buoyed up, I tackled LB, only to find a twofer on my first attempt.

I must have missed a couple of words yesterday but won't have time to look for them until later.

Happy Thanksgiving, and safe travels to those of you who will be traveling. I have to hit the road in two or three hours.

cathwen

Good morning!

Also a fast QB this morning with the pangram (weirdly) as my first word.  Yesterday I needed help to find alkane, alkene, and nankeen

LB:  No 2fer yesterday, but I found one quickly today.  Not as quickly as Langue_doc—perhaps my third try.

Langue_doc, safe travels!  You must be on the road by now.  And safe travels to everyone else as well.  It's just the two of us this year, so it will be a little bit low key.  However, I plan to use the good tablecloth, the china, crystal, and silver nevertheless.

Happy puzzling!

ciao_yall

Same as cathwen - QB with hints for alkane, alkene, nankeen.

Just 3fers number-rivet-thank, thumb-brink-knave. Do I really want to know what an ambivert is? My porn filter is turned off.

Happy solving!

ab_grp

Good morning!

Not to genius yet, though I do have pangram.  Husband is in the same boat.  Congrats on the QBs already! That gives me hope.  We also needed help with nankeen yesterday.  I also needed alkane, alkene (again!), as well as kennel(ed).

For LB, I got the schmofficial solution right before bed!! I decided to give it one more try and while brushing my teeth came up with ambivert (I don't know what it means), which was in there and led directly to the solution.  That was a weird one! Hopefully today will be a victory as well.  Congrats on yours, Langue_doc and cathwen!

Langue_doc, I hope you have safe travels and a Happy Thanksgiving! I am not traveling, and this will probably be the lowest key Thanksgiving we have ever had, but we'll see what the college student is up to.  We have also done the good china and etc. when it's just us.  Hope you enjoy it, cathwen!

Happy solving!

Yeehaw! Got QBABM and a 2fer.  Now if only I could figure out the sudokus.  I think they changed how one of the settings works.

ciao_yall

QBABM! Last word enema. LB joints-squeaky.

Thankful for all of you being a part of my morning routine.

cathwen

Good morning!

Ab_grp and ciao_yall, congratulations on QBABY!  I got there, too, with last word  ahem

Today I have two words to go.

LB:  I also had joints-squeaky.  I have a 2fer today; the first word was a wild guess.

Happy Thanksgiving, all!  And I also am very grateful that you all are part of my morning routine.

And happy puzzling!

ab_grp

Good morning!

I am thoroughly struggling again! I do have the pangram but am not to genius.  Yesterday ahem was my last word, too.  I had such a hard time, and then a bunch just came in a row, and I was thrilled to get the final one!  Congrats, ciao_yall and cathwen!

Count me in for joints-squeaky, as well.  I was just glad to find one.  Congrats on another today, cathwen!

I am very, very thankful for this group of puzzling friends as well! I look forward to our conversation every day.  Happy Thanksgiving!

Me too!

Now that I am turkeyed and desserted, I have no recollection of how I got to QB this morning. I don't think it was easy as it took me  a while to find the last few words.

Just got a twofer. I think there was only one solution yesterday, which we all seem to have found.

We had our meal quite early, which is typical for my hosts' extended family. Hope you're all spending Thanksgiving with family/friends who are warm and loving, which is what the holiday is all about.

cathwen

Good morning!

QB with help yesterday to find puli and (!!!) upon, which led to a head smack.  QB today as well!

LB:  I had locknut-throwback.  I was leery of locknut, but I remembered an incident on the Merritt Parkway involving a flat tire and the inability of the tire changing guy to get the tire off because the locknut key was missing. We had to be towed to the nearest dealership just to have our tire changed!  (We now have a locknut key.)

Anyway......happy puzzling, and happy recovery from Thanksgiving!

ciao_yall

QBwH for a few I should have gotten earlier but overlooked: lollop, pronoun, unpin.

LB was just 2fer b4ss blunt-throwback, walnut-throwback, unbolt-throwback. Quick 2fer this morning.

Friend gifted me a turkey carcass today so stock will be simmering soon.

Happy solving!
