This is what happens in English primary and secondary schools. It means that everyone knows when families can go on vacation, and prices are raised accordingly. In our town, it's apparently pretty common for families to treat the final week or so of K-12 school as optional at most.  I don't recall that ever happening when I was growing up.  We were in school up to the end, of course, since our mother was a teacher, but the non-teacher's-kid students were there too.

Three dozen chaplains!  Must be a large institution.  We had only one at Alma Mater.  It was a church-supported SLAC, so he was the official chaplain.  Quite a young family man at that time.  There was lots of in-house speaking and musical talent among faculty and students for the required weekly chapel services and daily optional noonday meetings.  The chaplain was active on campus, but I don't recall him addressing assemblies that often.

There are relevant measures within the framework of administrative law to deal with misuse of executive power. Non for profit status is given by administrative action and should be taken also. The idea that the IRS will need to go to court to strip 501(c)(3) status is ludicrous. I guess the ACLU director wants the IRS to spend more time and money to strip the status from those who abuse it.

@AJ_Katz, So sorry; I just finished posting final grades and came up for air (and to browse the fora).

Assests are great full-length hose. For knee-high hose, I've worn L'eggs Everyday (they come in a pink box) for decades. I'm usually able to wash and wear them many, many times over before they need to be replaced. Sadly, they are getting harder to find in stores, but Wal-Mart and Target near me have them on occasion. I've also found them on Amazon sometimes.

I assumed they meant (rightly, in my opinion) it would be problematic for a political appointee to do this merely because someone complains. For example, University of Florida loses non-profit status because random Dem congressperson complains to WH.
