Anyone here know anything about something called 'The Brooklyn Institute for Social Research'?

I heard of them a couple of years ago, offering what (looked to be) interesting courses. I don't know much more though.
Are you hoping to enrol? Apply for a job?

I saw a post on FB about a course of theirs, and looked at their www site.  I have my thoughts as to what sort of op they are but was interested in knowing if anyone here had more specific details about them.

Revenue was $1 million in 2020, based on tax returns. The executive director makes $65k. I have my own conclusions based on that.

It's never a good sign if the list of eight topics on an institutional website includes "Store" and "Support us".

I think my school, a college that's been around for hundreds of years, has both of those (a button for the Campus Store (including on line purchases) and
Donations).
