Diversity Issue with Edited Collection

I edited a collection a few years ago that contained mostly women, and was linguistically and geographically very international but overall a bit white. So I approached many people of color. Only got a handful more submissions but the collection was better for it.

I wonder if your original cfp appealed to a certain demographic? You could approach people or color as I did, or simply go with what you have (which is OK too), and next time think a bit more about inclusiveness when drawing up the cfp.
