QBABM yesterday, last word agape. Congratulations on QBABY, ab_grp! Today I have both pangrams and am a bit beyond genius.

LB: I had goofy words whose acceptance surprised me: redoubtably-yike. Eyebrows went up to my hairline, but who am I to complain. I found a 2fer fairly easily today with normal words.

cathwen, I too came up with redoubtably/yike, but took it in stride, knowing well the vagaries of the puzzle setting process. Yikes, indeed!

Congrats on your QBs and 2fers, cathwen and Langue_doc! I had deliberately, doubletake, redoubtable, yolker, and others and thought at least one would work out! Got close with some combos.  I'm glad you found a solution that worked, even if we are left to scratch our heads about it.  It's always worth a try.

How else would I find words for the bee?😊 I associate redoubtably/redoubtable with detective novels of yore, for reasons that elude me.

Pangram and above genius. Last word was faucet. I think I had a twofer, but will have to review the puzzle to see what I found. I've been too distracted by Quordle and Blossom to pay much attention to LB.

I have two pangrams and am past genius, but I still have a ways to go! Yesterday was a total failure on puzzles.  I don't know what happened to the time.  We had a bunch of words we needed help from bee buddy with that are just kind of oh come on kind of words, like calculate, lettuce, along with acetal, lacteal.  Ugh.

I tried on LB when I had time and thought I had some good contenders but just couldn't make anything work.  Congrats, cathwen! And I am annoyed by some b4ss today, so hopefully something will make sense at some point.

Langue_doc, sounds like just another good reason to read detective novels! And I don't think I have heard of Blossom but am assuming it's another game.  Sorry if you have mentioned it before! I do recall Quordle.

Past genius with the pangram (finally!).  Yesterday I almost made it to QB but needed help with oblong, which I feel like I always miss.  Argh! I don't know how I missed belonged for so long but got the other two.  Congrats, Langue_doc!

No luck on LB! Guess that was a tough one.  Glad you got one today, cathwen!

Langue_doc, thanks for the Blossoms puzzle! I had not seen that before.  I tried todays and have been working my way backward.  I scored better after I read the instructions.  ;-)  It's interesting that it's similar to the bee but involves some strategy.  Definitely enjoying it!
