Any reports on if it works better?  (or was that lint what was keeping it from flying apart?)

It works as it should. I did some dangerous stuff with it (bypassing things I shouldn't have and using a fan- I know very stupid). Sometimes when you get a big clog that blocks the exhaust vent, it will heat up and cause the thermal fuse to blow (which is what it should do). That should have been my indicator, but I wasn't thinking. I will say that I cleaned out the entire exhaust portion and it works fine. It's a simple machine since it's from 1997.

for what it is worth, I tested positive for 3 full weeks this summer!  I was sick for about 10 days, and cranky/grumpy for many more! 

(Not to derail the thread, but My Bride was away, helping her parents with a cancer fight when I was diagnosed so she stayed away since if she came home she could not return to her parents' house.   She accused me of Not Missing her enough, and of having too much fun without her.  I had to promise to have "less unauthorized fun" ...  but  I assured her that she was safer being away, and as I know I was extra grumpy, It was MUCH cheaper for her to be away, as I know that it would cost me a fortune to make up to her for anything I might have done while estra grumpy....
AND I think that she was REALLY afraid that after 1 1/2 years of marriage that ALLL of the Hard work and Training she had invested in me was going to waste as she was SURE I was returning to "My Feral Ways"  (my words)...  (like not picking up my clothes and putting them in the hamper EVERY TIME, not washing dishes or even putting my dishes in the sink EVERY TIME, ... scratching anything that itched, and venting gas build ups ANYTIME, anywhere, throwing tissues NEAR the trash can and not putting them IN the can....  ... Do You Remember the Freedom of Being Feral?  ...  She didnt Want ME to remember it-- still doesnt!!!) 

Well, we took our 26 year old dryer apart and removed a disgusting amount of lint from the inside. Actually, SO showed me that the cord (where it attaches to the dryer) was so corroded that the contacts were bad and I decided that this was an opportune time to disassemble the dryer for shits and giggles. We also cleaned out the line to the vent. Long story short, we bought a new cord and a new hose to the vent.

If you all recall EWU is one of the places that cried financial issues while cutting faculty and combining departments, even while spending large amounts to maintain a football program that brings in little to no revenue. History was one of the departments that was combined with two others.

"Non-disparagement" clauses can be put into employment contracts. And it cannot be otherwise. You don't like your employer, work someplace else.

That's the least cost solution. The disparager hurts many people's incomes. The disparagee is only one person's income.

Looks like the university was nice not to terminate the disparager, but I don't really know that.
