Okay...Sabatini's situation is a bit more complicated than it appears on a cursory Google search.

Here is the article you want to post, K16:

The Free Press: He Was a World-Renowned Cancer Researcher. Now He's Collecting Unemployment.

Quote
The entrance to the wormhole can be found in Rockville, Maryland, at a hotel that Sabatini was staying at while attending a conference about lysosomes and cancer sponsored by the National Institutes of Health. There, on the night of April 18, 2018, after an evening of whiskey tasting—Sabatini is a whiskey aficionado—he and Kristin Knouse had sex. Knouse was an incoming cancer researcher at the Whitehead, where she would also head her own lab; hers focused on liver regeneration. He was 50. She was 29. He had split with his wife, and was in the process of getting a divorce.

The next month they met up at Knouse’s condo near Boston Common where they discussed a few ground rules for their tryst. They agreed they could see other people. Knouse, Sabatini remembers, had ongoing flings with men who she referred to with nicknames like “anesthesiologist fuck buddy,” “finance bro,” and “physics professor,” and she wanted to keep it that way. Also, they wouldn’t tell anyone. Why complicate things at work? It was all supposed to be fun.

It would be beneficial to have Knouse's point-of-view included.

Quote
So what exactly had those 248 pages [of the report which accused Sabatini of misconduct] said? What had David Sabatini been found guilty of that merited this kind of punishment? Chiefly, failing to disclose his consensual relationship with Knouse [Sabatini's accuser]. On top of that, the report found that Sabatini, in his day-to-day administration of the lab, violated the Whitehead’s Anti-Harassment Policy, since his “behavior created a sexualized undercurrent in the lab.” Sabatini’s relationship with Knouse exacerbated things, given his “indirect influence” over her, which violated the Anti-Harassment Policy and ran afoul of the “spirit” if not the letter of another of the institute's policies.

True, he didn’t supervise Knouse. He didn’t work directly with her. He never threatened her or proposed a quid pro quo. And he certainly didn’t have the power to fire her. But, according to the report, he had “experience, stature, and age” over her. Knouse’s apparent desire to continue their relationship only served to confirm his influence: “That she felt the need to act ‘fun’ to impress Sabatini underscores how Sabatini’s words and actions profoundly impacted her,” the lawyers wrote.

We are moving and I need to take my huge TV off the wall mount to get it ready. BUT, because it is too darn big for one person to carry/balance (and my spouse is not strong enough to assist), I will need to ask for help.

I hate asking for personal help/favors from people. I have no close personal friends in the area, only neighbors, "work friends" and colleagues, which makes it harder for me to ask. :(

This is definitely a first world problem rant!

We have a neighborhood email/Facebook group where people post requests for assistance with small jobs all the time, and offer some payment.
Many of these one-off gigs are popular with High School students or any others who can do them, but are not interested in doing such full time or doing big projects.
You may be doing someone a favour by advertising your small job and compensating generously.

What's to say?  Another pathological chauvinist-pig harasser bites the dust.  Good riddance.

Best Buy sucks, BTW.

Best Buy sucks.

Best Buy sucks.

Best Buy sucks.

Never had a good experience with them in several difference states.

Dell sucks too.  Their hardware is increasingly poor quality and very fragile.

Read the fine print on any Best Buy contract.

Google "handyman" (or is it "handyperson" now?) in your area.  Most places have people with basic contractor skills who freelance little household projects like this.

Best Buy sucks, BTW.

Good morning!

Got to genius with the pangram so far.  Yesterday I was missing dino, and we were both missing opioid, weepie and needed help with those.  It took me forever to find pinewood.  I had a couple that I thought were words that were accepted elsewhere, like owie, wowie, downpipe, wipedown, wideopen

Absolutely no luck on LB.  The letter arrangement just totally stymied me.  I had a couple words, but no real contenders.

Cathwen, that's great! Sounds like your hip is fairly well back to normal? Are you allowed to Zumba again (if you wanted to!)? I'm not sure how that works.  I hope your doctor can give you some idea about what's going on with the twinges.   Thanks about my back, too.  Better and better! It's more stiff than anything at this point with a little pull here and there, but I would guess tomorrow it will feel near 100%.  I won't be doing any explosive movements anytime soon!

Husband went off driving himself for the first time in quite a while.  He has to get a chest x-ray per the cardiologist and blood work for the PCP.  He is having a twinge himself, in his upper right chest.  That is to be expected, but he gets a little nervous about it now and again, so it will be good to have a look-see at what's going on in there.  Otherwise, still doing great! I hope the drive goes well, but Friday will be 6 weeks, so it's about time, and I'm not sure he's any safer with me driving the truck.

Happy solving!

Morning! Guessed pinewood ABM, but had to go to hints and add pinioned, weepie to my Magic List. LB fudge-exorcism.

Happy solving!

General Discussion / Re: Super Bowl 2023 Plans and Predictions

I’m another one who grew up near Philly, and my husband’s parents grew up near there as well, so we’ll be rooting for the Eagles.  I say “we,” as I’m indifferent to football (I know, that’s anathema), but I rashly promised my husband that I would watch the Super Bowl with him.  My extended family will be posting enthusiastically on Facebook the whole time.  The enthusiasm will be contagious, I suppose!  I would prefer to watch the Puppy Bowl, but a promise is a promise!
