@AJ_Katz, So sorry; I just finished posting final grades and came up for air (and to browse the fora).

Assests are great full-length hose. For knee-high hose, I've worn L'eggs Everyday (they come in a pink box) for decades. I'm usually able to wash and wear them many, many times over before they need to be replaced. Sadly, they are getting harder to find in stores, but Wal-Mart and Target near me have them on occasion. I've also found them on Amazon sometimes.

I assumed they meant (rightly, in my opinion) it would be problematic for a political appointee to do this merely because someone complains. For example, University of Florida loses non-profit status because random Dem congressperson complains to WH.

Your institution has a "spirituality office?"  The faculty's attitude to their no doubt well-meaning list of religious holidays is probably pretty typical of the response to a lot of what these sorts of offices put out. 

The full name would reinforce your impression. The name used to have the word "religion" in it. Perhaps in the distant past that was the full name. There is a staff of about three dozen chaplains who have rather conventional chaplain responsibilities. They report to the Dean of Students.

Full Disclosure by Stormy Daniels.  It was a mix of interesting, disturbing, and sad.  The reports out of the Trump Fraud trial match what was in the book. 

The few of my friends who have remained in town during the summer have formed an informal book club. We've generated a master list of things that each of us have added "novels near and dear to us" and we're working through them at our own pace.
I'm a third of the way through If We Were Villains. It's ok -- the genre is a little too precious for me, but I can see why my friends like it. The Eyre Affair is next.

In a state with stand your ground laws, the response could well have involved a load of buckshot with the invader on the receiving end.  But in Berkley??????  It seems not.

The charges of "Islamophobia" are simply hysterical.

The professor should have simply called the police, but I guess anger took over.
