Finally made it to genius today with pangrams. Congrats on your QBABY today and yesterday, cathwen, and to yours as well, Langue_doc! I was nowhere near yesterday. At least I did finally make it to genius. And somehow even though husband was also struggling, we made it to team QB. I was missing old favorites such as lollop, lollipop, unpin, porn(o) and also pillion, which I don't recall having heard of (but must have). We both thought prion was newly accepted.
For LB, I had throwback as my main contender and tried so hard to make it work but totally forgot about knurl! Congrats on your solutions, cathwen and Langue_doc! And congrats on getting a quick one today, ciao_yall!
Since we had such a low-key dinner, it was mostly the cleaning beforehand to prepare for our visitor that we are recovering from. Well, that and hearing some of the college student's stories of the first semester living away. I think it's time to up the life insurance policy. And maybe invest in some sedatives for myself. I definitely have my share of stories of bad decisions and unsafe circumstances, not just from college, but whew. But we had a great convo and a lot of laughs and more this morning over brunch. We will try to work on the tree this afternoon before they head back tomorrow to their mom's.
