Nothing like a steaming bowl of gazpacho on a winter day.

A few years ago I had dinner with friends at Jaleo, Jose Andres' restaurant in DC. We requested shooters of gazpacho to close out the meal. It was the perfect end to an amazing dinner. Highly recommend his restaurant and his gazpacho recipe.

My mother has spoken well of the cuisine in Spain from her summer study sojourns there during her college teacher days.  Although her first love has always been Mexican/Southwestern food, since that's where she grew up.
For our light affliction, which is only for a moment, works for us a far greater and eternal weight of glory.  We look not at the things we can see, but at those we can't.  For the things we can see are temporary, but those we can't see are eternal.
