Title: It may be the last week of classes, but I finally....
Post by: reener06 on December 03, 2019, 10:25:36 AM
Remembered to heat up my lovely turkey/gouda/mustard/cranberry sandwich (on homemade bread, no less) in time to heat it in a decent, non-hurried way while reading an NYT article before my 1 pm class. This is in contrast to my almost all-semester-long "oh crap it's 12:37 and I forgot to eat something quick shove it down my throat" practice this fall, resulting in indigestion while lecturing. Good times.

Yay me. What have you finally remembered to do this last week or so?

Take advantage of the Palgrave-MacMillan sale (which ends today) and my share of the department's use-it-or-lose-it work-related-stuff reimbursement. I'll be getting thirteen books, discounted by $1000, for free. Happy days!

They're mostly not books related to my research, because P-M doesn't publish a ton on that, but they have a fair few cool things lying around which I'd never bother to purchase unless seriously discounted/free.
