During a Study Abroad class in the islands, some students found me asleep in a hammock and dumped glitter all over me. Like, an entire container of glitter.

Got glitter in my mouth. And up my nose.

Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.

Reprove not a scorner, lest they hate thee: rebuke the wise, and they will love thee.

Give instruction to the wise, and they will be yet wiser: teach the just, and they will increase in learning.

it takes like 2 weeks to really get all of that glitter off (i've been in shows that included glitter).

My 8:00am physics prof would launch clay pellets out of a homemade blow gun at the snoozers.  He warned that his aim got a bit off after the first few rows so if you were in the back you should poke your sleepy classmate or risk being an off target hit.

Two stories (with no particular point):
1.  I once had a student sleep in class during my teaching demonstration in a job interview.  The usual instructor said, don't worry, he always does that.
2.  I once taught a course in a maximum security prison.  One student fell asleep in class almost every week.  Finally, one week while we took a break, he came up and apologized, saying "I'm sorry, I keep falling asleep, but they keep hitting me in the head."
