Attaching file folder in MAC outlook

I have a MacBook Air and want to attach an Outlook email folder to an Outlook email message.  I have looked for clear, online instructions but ......

Any suggestions/links appreciated.

If you are sending a new message or replying there is an insert option. That is where you have to go now in Outlook even to attach something.
