Fitbits any good anymore? (need a gift for My Bride)

I pay for it, but I am a data fiend and track a lot of different stuff across several trackers.  I am particularly interested in sleep metrics, and premium provides more detail.  I just looked at the comparison table, and the free app has almost all of the metrics in there, so it just depends what is of interest.
