Three ships have been arrested, crew are going unpaid, provisions are gone, and one ship is out of fuel.

The crew are being told that if they haven't completed their 3-month contract, they should resign and pay for their own transport home, since the company will not cover it..

One suspects the company execs have been getting paid all along, however...

Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.

Reprove not a scorner, lest they hate thee: rebuke the wise, and they will love thee.

Give instruction to the wise, and they will be yet wiser: teach the just, and they will increase in learning.

Reviving this thread to re-ask my original question: anyone here been to Puerto Rico? It's a potential winter break destination. A nearby airport has initiated non-stop flights to San Juan. This makes Puerto Rico more convenient than Belize, which requires a connection in Miami.

As before, the ideal accommodations would be a beach-facing hotel room with kitchenette or nice AirBnB, with a grocery store down the block.
It's terrible writing, used to obfuscate the fact that the authors actually have nothing to say.
