Meeting with a new co-author, then back to reading for the R&R, I think.

Didn't read much; instead, I reworked some of the material I added over the last few days (it fits nicely now), and added about 400 words.

Had somewhat less time than anticipated, but did a little reading (not enough) and a little fixing.

Also got word that my chapter contribution from earlier this month is approved, though it needs to be pruned a good bit. Started pruning.

June goals:

• Make progress on paper #1 (with colleagues) - we should be sending this off to a journal by the end of the month
• Make progress on paper #2 (with colleague) - presenting at conference in June
• Make progress on paper #3 (with colleague) - R&R due in June, ball is in colleague's court
• Make progress on paper #4 (with colleague) - R&R due in early July, ball is in my court
• Make progress on paper #5 (with colleagues) - presenting at conference in August
• Make progress on book #1 (with colleague) - it would be good to polish the chapters I wrote a couple of months ago, start another one, and fire a coal under my coauthor
• Make progress on book #2 (solo) - hoping to receive contract soon

Paper #4 has gone back to the journal. Fingers crossed that the reviewers will be satisfied with our revisions!

I'm planning to complete one more task (IRB submission) before taking a breather until July.

Well, our morning excursion took all day. I did get a bit done; I might well be done, apart from plugging in a bit of citation info. I'll double-check tonight.

• Finish T2 revisions
• Finally comment on acquaintance's paper
• Write a draft of a chapter contribution for August

Stretch:

• Work on the new book

Instead of commenting, I refereed a couple and did almost all of the R&R work on a paper, plus small revisions to the chapter.

That's okay; it's more than I expected to get done in June.
