Good morning!

QBwH for last two words, arnica and arancini. I was surprised that concannon was rejected, as I think that it was accepted before.

LB: workbench-hazy. Apparently, that was the only solution.

Minervabird, it sounds as though you are having a very relaxing time on vacation!

Happy puzzling!

Good morning!

I have a pangram and may be at genius.  Short puzzle again!  Yesterday we needed help for czar(ina), arancini, which I was mad was not in the puzzle for so long and now usually miss! Argh.

Cathwen, I think it's colcannon, but I'm not sure.  There are so many words that have been added and subtracted, and some of these are just not in my normal vocabulary.

Minervabird, sounds like you are having fun! Beer relaxation seems like a good trade off, even if it means less bee progress.  Cheers!

Happy solving!

Today we did spelling bee sans beer and got to QB fairly quickly. So, ab_grp, we have to decide...beer or QB?  Maybe we can do both tomorrow!  We are having fun, and cheers to you too.

The last time I tried colcannon, it didn't accept it. I only learned this word moving to the UK and having this dish in Ireland!

Happy solving!

Good morning!

QBw2LL yesterday for emcee/d. I always seem to miss that one.

LB: glitched-damper.

Ab_grp, you are right, it is colcannon. Minervabird, sounds like you're having a great time! Beer or QB—a tough decision!

Happy puzzling!

Good morning!

QBAM! Last word? Forgot to make a note of it as the QB logo popped up so quickly I didn't expect it.

LB glitched-damper.

Good morning!

We still have a few words left but are pangramful.  Yesterday I also got to QBABM, though not sure what the final word was.  It was such a short puzzle!

Minervabird, I would go for the beer today if I were you! ;-)

Happy solving!

Good morning!

QBw2LL last word goony. LB pol-lumberjack.

New word pangramful! I have genius and 1 pangram so far but not sure if there is another one lurking so I may or may not be pangramful.

Good afternoon!

QBwH for last word, longan.

LB: opal-lumberjack.

I like pangramful!

Happy puzzling!

Good morning!

I am ppangramful and past genius today.  Yesterday I think we needed to get some help for the final word, but I don't recall what it was.  I did remember longan.  I think that was the penultimate word.   Oh yes, the final one was galop.  Both of those are hard for me to remember!!

I'm glad you both like pangramful! I realized that others may not look at the page with the info about number of pangrams and totals, so I figured I would just use that word to indicate if I had gotten all the pangrams that day or not and not give it away.

Happy solving!

Minervabird

I am also pangramful and past genius today.  Yesterday was a very long puzzle, so we opted for the beer.

Happy puzzling!

Good morning!

QBw3LL last word agrarian. LB nudge and a made up word vulgar-radiothon.

Good morning!

I am pangramful and probably at genius today.  Yesterday we needed help with the final few words, just ran out of time and energy.  I think the ones we got help with were briar, brining, rabbi, ravaging.

Part of my energy drain was two phone calls totaling almost 5 hours.  It was great to chat with pals, but whew.    I mentioned to husband that it's like one of those easy logic puzzles.  I have phone calls with two different people at 3 PM, and I will eat lunch in between calls.  How? One on the east coast, one on the west coast.

Minervabird, when I saw the puzzle length I figured the beer might be the more palatable option!

Happy solving!

Minervabird

At genius today and pangramful. Will probably stay at the level unless inspired.

Happy solving!
