The PO asked for an abstract, and then the status date changed in Fastlane while the status is still pending. How long will it take to become to "recommended" status? Worrying...

NSF has been really slow lately. It took almost 2 months for the status to change for one of my proposals.

Congrats on your funded proposal!  Don't worry.  I received a rejection email from NSF 2 months ago, but my proposal is still showing up as "pending."  As research_prof says, NSF is slow these days.

@Angelama: it appears that your status has been changed to pending to pending (similar to my situation).
Did you hear anything after that?
Did you also send any additional documents?
I am super worrying... as I heard that that can be a sign of something.

NSF seems to be having severe trouble lately. For a small grant (no IRBs), it took 3.5+ months for me to receive the official award notice after I was contacted by the NSF program director that I am being recommended for funding.
