Favorite tablets/black board equivalents for online lectures?

While tutoring online a few years ago, I used a Bamboo Pad to annotate, which comes with a stylus and integrates with other programs. I think I shall dust it off and see if it is still relevant in the age of iPads and Tablets. I'll be teaching at least one online course next year, with a few in-person.
