I mentioned him on the Krug thread. That kind of thing (fudging results) seems to be a LOT more common than outright claiming a degree that doesn't exist (see also: Michael Bellesiles)

What's hilarious is that he wrote for "Skeptic"!! You can't make this stuff up!!!
It takes so little to be above average.

Looks like he didn't get all that far--just a handful of popular science articles.  The magazine did the right thing in detailing how they found out about him, and taking down his online articles.
