My coathor wants more time with paper #6 before he turns it over to me, so not going to have a chance to play with it till June - crossing it off my list for now.

In the meantime, with my ongoing projects either on hold or with coauthors, I was able to start putting together a book proposal for book #2. Not sure whether it will ultimately amount to anything, but I'm having a good time putting my ideas on paper.

And tomorrow morning I'm off for a long weekend away, so whatever progress I make today will be it for June.

Gonna finish the chapter edits today, then either return to T4 or start on another chapter.
I know it's a genus.

Book pre-orders launch Monday, and the organization's members got notified about it today! I started getting a lot of communication from people about their excitement over the book! Woohoo!

I also sent out reminders to potential participants for my current study who had not yet responded to requests for participation.

Finished the chapter, worked on T4, and opened a document for the other chapter.

Good luck with the project!

Had a great interview with a participant today, and another person sent back a signed consent form so I am hoping to schedule another one soon.

Not much time today, so a tiny bit of tinkering with T4.

Did that. Am very, very nearly done tidying the intro. I've sent off two general queries to publishers, but will try to get the proposal squared for my best bet tomorrow.

Also got a new referee task in the (e)mail.

Quote from: Parasaurolophus on May 01, 2025, 05:25:35 AMGonna try to clear my plate a bit this month:

  • Finish T4 intro, send T4 proposal out.
  • Start on Invited Chapter 1
  • Start on Co-Authored Short Paper
  • Plug away at B2
  • Clear two referee reports (though surely more will flood in)

That's... quite a bit. We'll see.

Well. I very nearly finished up T4, and I made a small start on the chapter.
I know it's a genus.
