Curious to know if you conduct a study on the same topic, but you use different tests and subjects if you can use the same literature review or do you have to write a new one.

Do you mean use the exact same words in the literature review section of a paper that will be published in a peer-reviewed journal as you used in some other peer-reviewed paper?  Don't do that.  If nothing else, you need to address the value of the current tests to address the current question.  You should also update the review to include your related published work in this area.

If you mean the literature review where one spends a lot of time with what other people have published, then you also need to do a little more work unless it's only been a couple months since you completed the last one.  People publish all the time so it's important to keep up with the field and place your work appropriately in the larger context.

Yes sir and thank you for the response and advice.  I have written a few studies on this topic that I will include in my literature review for this study.

What is the context for the literature review? Is it a term paper, a scientific manuscript, etc?

Can I ask a related question?

I am conducting a non systematic lit review for a paper for a class. My topic is fairly "new", so there aren't many references about my specific topic out there. I am in the social sciences. Which database should I begin with to start my search? Scopus? Web of Science? Google scholar?

I have all my keywords and synonyms, but I am unsure where I should begin. I have contacted the librarian of my university as well, but I just wanted to have your input.

I am hoping to get maybe 20-30 articles max (maybe even less) on my specific topic.
