The Support Thread

I see there's a wonderful positivity thread, but, especially in these times of crisis, I felt we needed a support thread. Now, I'm not suggesting that this thread could supplement other ways of getting services needed, but that it could be a place people go to say "this experience sucked" and someone else could say "I hear you, and that was sucky" without being patronizing, passive aggressive, etc.

I say this because I'm not feeling that these forums have quite been that yet, and I'd like to create a space for it.

If I can be that support, I will be. If I need it, I hope to receive it.

For those faculty who teach at more than one school:  I recommend using the same online platform (zoom, googlehangouts or other) at both schools. That way you're getting twice the amount of practice.
I suppose we could have a 'freeway flier support thread' but if no one minds it being discussed here, well and good.
