Forgot to post earlier:  Little Cat went to the vet a couple of weeks for her thyroid check and her rabies shot, and she's put on 1/4 of a pound in about 2 months! VERY good news (she's back up from 5.7 to 6 pounds), and her thyroid numbers are back in range, too. She turns 18 in a couple of weeks.

There used to be a thread "high mileage cars check in"... Maybe we should have a "high mileage pets check in" thread! 

(and I sold my high mileage car... my replacement is 24 years old now (older than most of my students these days), but has less than 90K miles!)
