QBwH, but really, pfft is a word? I think I've seen it in the Bee before, come to think of it, but I don't like it! I needed help to find flauta, and pelf was a random guess. Today I have six words to go.

LB: I also had chivalrous-sex, but I am amazed that vicarious-sexaholic was rejected, ab_grp! Harumph! I have not found a 2fer today yet.

I was also surprised at the rejection of sexaholic. Sexercise(s) didn't do me any good either so I just gave up. Pfft has appeared more than once, and pelf goes back to the Shakespearean era--I was surprised to see that it was legit.

I finally got to genius.  Yikes.

Also wanted to note that Connections now appears in my app.  Anyone else?

Pangrams and genius--phew! Missed hamartia, which I think I've encountered before.

Venting about the bee's hoity-toity editors--in a recent puzzle, coition wasn't accepted, but the following day, the more graphic fellate was. I recall the former to have been legit several months ago.

I think I'm a few points from genius and only have two pangrams so far.  Yesterday we also needed help for hamartia (I do think that's been in there but would never have found it) and circa, haram, which we should have found.

For LB I finally got hugs-syndication and figured that would be schmofficial, but I guess not.

Thanks for that article, Langue_doc! I shall take a gander.  It is definitely strange what the bee eds decide is appropriate or inappropriate to include.

Pangrams and genius so far, but it's a bit of a slog today. Yesterday I needed help for arhat, maraca, and hamartia, which I had to look up after seeing the definition.

LB: I had syndication-naught. I found a 2fer today also.

I'm glad that Connections is now a permanent feature of the puzzle page, but like Langue_doc, I also miss Digits. I wonder why they deleted it? One of life's mysteries.

Slogging through SB today but did get a quick 2fer.

I like Connections - quite clever! And Wordle as well. Not a fan of the numbers ones like Digits or Sudoku. I'm a good math person but I find the puzzles rather... I dunno... the words are always entertaining.

Genius with pangram today, five words to go. Yesterday I got beltline and beige(!) with 2LL help. Then I had one word left, and couldn't for the life of me figure it out. Finally I looked at the answers—it was binning! I was convinced that I had tried that, and that it had been rejected. Guess not!

LB: I had the "official" brochure-exclaim. I have a 2fer today.

So far today I have Genius w/o Pangram, 3fers, Wordle in 3 but stuck on Connections.

Going hiking today and will see my NYT Puzzle friend so we'll see how it goes.

Got to genius but the pangram took longer for some reason.  Anyway, I only have 2 more words to go now, so hopefully I will get to QB.  Yesterday we almost made it to team QB but needed help with being.  I immediately kicked myself because as I was loading bee buddy I thought "I bet it's something dumb like being" but "knew" that I already had that word.  Maybe it was subliminal.

For LB I had exclaim but couldn't find a mate.  Just didn't get much time with it yesterday.  Maybe today will be better.  Congrats, cathwen and ciao_yall!

Pangram and genius. Needed help for unpeeled and duple.

Scouting resulted in a scheduled walk for a date in September. There are military installations in this park-like location going back to the colonial era which were then adapted for use during the Revolutionary and the two world wars because of the changing history and technology.

Another outdoors event today, so probably no more puzzling.

I'm past genius with the pangram but having some trouble now.  Yesterday I actually got to QBABM! My final two were duple, lede. 

No luck on LB.  Closest I got was a ship, manifold~curt.
