Good morning!

QBwH to find minima, maize, mania, all words I usually get. Today I am QB-1 and hope to make QBABM, but we'll see.

LB: I had talbots-squirmy. Apparently, a talbot is a kind of dog, now extinct. I have found a 2fer for today also.

Langue_doc, I am so sorry to hear about your friend.

Happy puzzling!

Good morning!

A bit past genius with pangram so far.  Yesterday I needed help from husband for meanie, and we both needed bee buddy help for magi.

For LB I also got balots-squirmy.  After getting the second word, I got so frustrated seeing that bloats wouldn't work so figured I might as well try the first word.  Always worth a try! I looked it up but didn't find a definition, so I guess I should be glad about that!

Langue_doc, I'm very sorry to hear about your young friend.  Take care.

Happy solving!

Morning!

QBwH for monad. LB paramedic-covalence.

Good morning!

QB yesterday and also today. Easy words, but it took me awhile to find the pangram.

Thanks, all! This was a much-loved person.

ab_grp, balot is listed on one of the wiki- websites as an alternative for ballot. I also got a kick out of cowtowns--do the cows squeal as they are driven through the streets by cowboys?

Happy solving!

Good morning!

QB yesterday with admin as my last word. Today I'm at QB-3 with the pangram.

LB: I had vampire-endocardial. I have one today, too.

I do wonder if cows are driven through towns in Western cattle country the way sheep are driven through town in the Basque region of France! On a trip to France a number of years ago, I was awakened to the clanging of sheep bells one night, looked out the window, and a man was shepherding a whole flock through the main street. One of my best memories!

Happy puzzling!

Good morning!

I think I have 2 words left.  It took me a bit to find the pangram as well.  Yesterday we needed bee buddy for mandala.

No luck on LB despite a ton of trying.  I couldn't find any mates for vampire, vampiric.  Congrats on your solutions!!

Langue_doc, it's funny that there are apparently several definitions of balots that didn't show up on my phone! Yikes.

Cathwen, what a neat memory! We have cows that just roam the streets and highways at times here, unfortunately.  And there's nothing you can do about it, because they have more rights than people do (at least, their negligent owners do).

Happy solving!

Good morning!

Pangram and genius. How on earth am I going to find the remaining words?

Don't recall the last words from yesterday's puzzle.

Happy solving!

Morning!

QBABM - last word peace. LB thrip-powerbank.

Good morning!

Ciao_yall, congratulations on QBABY! I needed a 1L nudge to find apace and peke, but could not for the life of me find yecch until I got a hint from SBB. I did have yech, but had forgotten the alternate spelling. Today I'm at genius with both pangrams, but now stumped.

LB: I had powerbank-kith. I also have one today.

Happy puzzling!

Good morning/afternoon!

Past genius but only one pangram so far.  Yesterday we tried and tried to make it to QBABO but were missing the same word: hype.  Ugh! I think I tried every combo of 4 letters I could think of, but obviously I missed that one.  Congrats, ciao_yall!

I also had powerbank-kith yesterday.  Congrats on your solutions!

Happy solving!

Good morning!

Pangram and genius. QB yesterday--last words were niggle, niggling.

Twofer on my first attempt, so must be the NYT solution.

Happy solving!

Morning!

QB with hints for easy ones like gigging. LB whackiest-tomb.

Happy solving!

Good morning/afternoon!

I am past genius with pangram and thought I was doing a pretty good job but apparently still have 13 words left.  Long puzzle! Yesterday we had team QB.  I needed help with cinching, inclining.  Congrats, Langue_doc!

No luck on LB.  I got too caught up thinking tomahawk was the way.  They wouldn't accept mohawk, so I guess that's considered to be a proper noun.  Congrats, ciao_yall! And on yours on your first try today, Langue_doc!

Happy solving!

Good afternoon!

QBwH to find inclining and negligence, my last word. Today I'm a bit beyond genius with the pangram, but finding this kind of a slog.

LB: I first found chewiest-tomback (a brass alloy—who knew!), then found a more reasonable whackiest-tomb. No 2fer yet today. Congratulations, Langue_doc, on finding one right away!

Happy puzzling!

Good morning!

Pangram and genius. Resorted to BB for the last few words because I didn't have the time or the patience to complete the very time-consuming puzzle. The puzzle-setters seem to think that we have nothing to do other than philosophize over each day's puzzle in addition to solving them.

swordfish/hamper, swordfishes/spam

Happy solving!

ETA: Haven't read this, but my Wordle starting word has consonants, just because that makes it easier for me to find the word of the day. I end up with the same number of attempts as the bot, or one just lower, or one just higher. I don't use any of the words listed, but the bot tells me that mine is a strong opening word.
