Good morning!

Got to genius with pangram today so far.  Congrats on QBABY, cathwen! Yesterday I got to QBABM! I think my final word was pulp.

I also had jinxing-grouched.  At first I thought it was ships because I got grouched and could only see jinx.  Durr.

We started my birthday month by husband taking the day off (he can't take off for the next two weeks because his boss will be out of the country).  We went on a carb run to try two new-to-me-or-us bakeries and Dunkin' Donuts.  We picked up quite a haul.  Actually, we were pretty restrained, but it's still unusual goods for us.  Included were bagels, donuts, tamale, burrito.  I have to look up whether Bavarian cream is regular cream donut cream.  If not, I was out of luck trying to find what I thought was a very common donut.  I have always just asked for a cream donut! I have never had a donut here before, so maybe that is not the usual breed of donut here.  I found out a while back that they do not have Munchkins here.  Well, they do, but they just call them donut holes.  Donut or doughnut? Have I had too much sugar this morning?!
