Good day!

Past genius with pangram so far.  Yesterday we had team QB.  I think I needed oleo, otology.

No luck on LB yet again.  Congrats on your solutions! Ciao_yall's made me chuckle.

Happy solving!

Langue_doc

Evening/Night,

QB today, QB yesterday. Also a twofer, but don't recall the words in either puzzle.

Long days, but good, despite the rain.

Happy solving!

ciao_yall

Morning!

QBw2LL last word vivifying. LB accidental hint for zirconium-modals.

Happy aolving!

Good morning!

Somewhere past genius with pangram so far.  Yesterday we had team QB.  I needed vivifying.

No official luck on LB yet again, though I think it should have accepted my solution of zirconium-modulars.  Didn't anyone else have modular classroom that they referred to as modulars? Anyway, I'm counting it.

Happy solving!

Good morning!

QB today, QByesterday with 1L hint for fifing and infilling.

LB: I also had zirconium-modals. And I agree that modulars should have been accepted (especially given the odd words accepted in the past!).

Happy puzzling!

Langue_doc

Afternoon!

QB. QB yesterday with figgy as the last word. Wordle on the second try--woohoo!

Happy solving!

Langue_doc

Good morning!

Pangram and above genius. I think I'm truly, truly stuck today.

QB yesterday--last word was modem.

wags/subjective--found the latter first and then realized that the remaining letters formed a word.

cathwen, how are you progressing?

Happy solving!

ciao_yall

Morning!

QB last word minx. I did go to SBB but I just used their grid and 2LL.

LB wags-subjective.

Happy solving!

Good morning!

Genius with pangram so far, but like Langue_doc, I am stuck. QB yesterday—last word nominee.

LB: I also had wags-subjective after having found the second word first.

Langue_doc, thanks for asking. I am doing quite well, considering. I can walk by myself for a bit, but have been cautioned not to give up the cane yet in order to keep my gait even. The shoulder and hand are still painful, but less so. I at least can brush my teeth right-handed, but I'm still fixing my hair left-handed. I actually think that although the shoulder is the less serious injury, it will take longer to heal. The visiting physical therapist and the occupational therapist were terrific; this Friday I start outpatient PT, and in the meanwhile, I have been diligent about doing the exercises that the VPT and VOT prescribed for both the hip and the shoulder and hand. So—long story short—I'm doing well and improving little by little every day.

Happy puzzling!

Good morning!

Somewhere past genius with pangram but also stuck! Yesterday I got to QBABM with minx.

For LB I had the schmofficial wags-subjective as well.

Cathwen, I know it's a long recovery, but I'm glad you are making progress and doing the exercises.  I hope they continue to help you get back to "normal"! I am sorry to hear you are still in pain.

Happy solving!

Langue_doc

Good morning!

Pangrams and above genius--it was quite a slog to get there. Missed oleic and toilette.

shifts/snowboard

Twofer as soon as I looked at the puzzle today.

cathwen, happy to hear about your progress. Hope you can ditch the cane soon and are pain-free as well.

ab_grp, how's the new job and the new coursework?

Happy solving!

ciao_yall

Morning!

QBwH for cootie. LB needed a nudge for braid-downshift.

Happy solving!

cathwen

Good morning!

QBwH for toilette, oleic, and ollie, my last word. I'm finding today's SB challenging—I'm at genius with both pangrams, but very far from QB.

On the other hand, like Langue_doc, I found an LB 2fer almost right away today. Yesterday I had arbitrations-swordfish and brownish-hardfast (which I didn't think was a word.)

Happy puzzling!

ab_grp

Good morning!

Just a few more words to go, and I have both pangrams.  Yesterday we had team QB.  I needed oleic.

No luck on LB, so congrats on your solutions! I tried so many combos, but not the right ones, apparently.  Got a quick 2fer today as well.

Langue_doc, they are both going well, thanks! It's definitely been an adjustment, but I think I'm finally getting more settled into a routine.  It will be strange taking a midterm again after so long! At least I don't feel quite so panicked every day at work anymore, but I'm sure that will vary according to what projects I need to work on.  This one required a lot of getting back up to speed on some programming and jumping into the middle of the work, but I feel good about progress and contributions I've made.  It's just a relief to be back in it, but I am working on setting work/life boundaries and getting that all balanced.

Happy solving!

ciao_yall

Morning!

QBwH for hematite. LB photographic-crackle, kelp-pornographic.

Happy solving!
