I'm sad today because one of my daily check-ins on FB was an older fella who posted a daily LB thread. He, another older lady and myself would make little puns/wordplay about the solutions.

His daughter let us know he is on poor health and can't do the puzzles anymore. But it was his favorite hobby and we had a pretty solid little group.

Now it's fallen apart. I have tried to keep it going but it really was just the two of us.

I got the most recent covid vax yesterday, and feel very achy today. No fever, though, no chills. So not as bad as most of the covid shots I've had.

QB with help from BB for the last word. QB yesterday, but had difficulty coming up with dumdum, despite resorting to BB. I've seen dumdum before, but it's a difficult word to see when confronted.

Have either of you heard from ab_grp? Not sure if I should be concerned, but it isn't like her to give up on this thread.
