There is an LB thread in the NYTimes Spelling Bee comments section but I don't check it very often. Only if I'm stuck- they all give hints.

My last word yesterday was also coulee. Today I'm at QB-2 and am stuck, even with 2LL help. The words will probably be something simple and obvious.

No luck on LB yesterday, though! Today I found a 2fer almost right off the bat.

As I predicted yesterday, my last two words were in fact obvious ones: divide and divided. I could have sworn that I had already found them, but I guess not! Today I am at genius with the pangram and a little way to go.

cathwen Do you use any of the online hints or are you a solo flyer? After I get to a certain point, I like using the grid or 2LL to remind me of words I have overlooked.

Good morning, ciao_yall!

Yesterday was a bust! I did not finish either puzzle. We got busy and I did not remember the puzzles until almost time for bed, at which point I said, the heck with it.

I do not fly solo 99% of the time. I play solo until genius, then go to nytbee.com to see how many words there are of various lengths. I count my words, then continue. When I get stuck, I go to the grid that shows how many words there are beginning with each letter. If I'm still stuck, I go to 2LL help on SBB. And if that doesn't help, I access the hints on SBB or the ones on the Times puzzle site. 

I usually do not look at hints for LB, although sometimes I do. Congratulations on your pair! I found envious, but did not see amicable.
