Hello, is there a database of some sort where you can find call for papers (special issue) for academic journals?
My field is social work and gender and women's studies.à

It's going to vary by discipline, and I have no idea where to look for social work.

But for women's and gender studies, a lot of relevant CFPs (for conferences and volumes) are advertised/collected on the PhilEvents portion of the PhilPapers foundation. If you create an account for yourself, you can get a weekly digest of CFPs in your areas of interest. It's a resource for philosophers, but feminist philosophy and WGS departments are pretty porous.

It may also be worth your while to sign up for the SWIP (Society for Women in Philosophy) listservs, where lots of CFPs are distributed: CSWIP (Canada), SWIP-UK (UK), SWIP (USA), etc.

The English Department at the U of Pennsylvania maintains a CFP site at https://call-for-papers.sas.upenn.edu/. "Gender studies and sexuality" is one of the categories listed on the left side of the screen.

The H-Announce list (https://networks.h-net.org/h-announce) has a wider scope, including social work. I've used both sites to distribute CFPs for conferences I've organized.
