Good. Iowans are famous for not caring what others think of them. Someone with a real set of balls needs to get things started.
No one is going to get to ban diversity. Diversity is not someone thing we create. It's something the world has, that we find, the minute we look around. I don't trust anyone who claims to be a diversity expert enough to let them treat unsettled questions like 'white fragility' or 'the problem of whiteness' or 'patriarchal tyranny' as matters of broad consensus that warrant collective action. As far as colleges go it's mostly administrative bloat, except it's worse, because some administrative bloat doesn't do any harm other than wasting time and money.
