Question about NSF proposal

Update: the proposal was recommended for funding on research.gov yesterday. So, it took about 1 month and 20 days from the time I sent the public abstract until the time that the proposal was officially recommended for funding.

Thats great to hear, congrats! I have a proposal on which I submitted abstract same time as you. Still no news. In my case, PO didn't say it was being recommended, just asked to submit abstract and address comments of reviewers. Hoping to hear something good soon.

Hope that yours gets recommended as well. Sometimes it can take up to 2 months for a proposal to get officially recommended. So, you should sit tight for the time being I guess. Good luck!
