Probably just some reading for August Chapter Contribution today.
I know it's a genus.

nonsensical

I finished reading a source for the project I mentioned yesterday, and also sent off some comments to a student on a paper describing a different project. I also feel accomplished after having been able to contribute to this thread every day this week; let's see if that continues for the rest of the month.

Did it, and a little book sectioning.
I know it's a genus.

Today-settle all resources for 7 towns into have/need to find columns
   - find what's needed, read it all through
   - create slides as needed
   - start culling slides and compiling to stay within time limits!
   - have a draft by the end of the day that at least includes a history slide, map with processional path,
and list of ritual actions for each town, plus table of resources.
    - comparisons started, done, and boiled down to 1 slide
    - theological/theoretical observations done, fitted onto 1 slide

Sunday, keep doing whatever's not done until it's done
   - another run-through, maybe Zoom with a friend?
   - good sleep so it's possible to attend some sessions, as well as my own!

Monday: Sit and deliver
   Students after

Tuesday: Rest until teaching at 4!

Ready, aim, Zoooommmmm---

I'll try to sneak in a little August Chapter Contribution reading today.
I know it's a genus.

I know it's a genus.

Have a single page per town with all pertinent details, 4 completely done, 3 with a few more things to enter each.

Started 3 more pages, a theoretical discussion, a musical discussion, and conclusions.

More to do tomorrow, but it feels more under control than when I started, plus I may have found the directions for a liturgical play embedded in one of the MSs.

A bit more reading and early to bed again. I was up at 4 and started working by 7 (AM tasks to do), and that's usually workable so I'll aim for the same tomorrow.

Paper for online Kalamazoo conference at 1 PM today.

Still slides to clean up, stuff to prep, but it'll be ready.

I'm happy to send a link to the session as a PM if anyone wants to know.

Gulp!

Just submitted corrected proofs for a paper. This is always nerve-wracking for me - what if I miss something? - but at least it's done now.

Did it. It's all so much slower than I want it to be, but, well, it is what it is. I think I should be able to start writing the chapter by the end of the month.

I am sorry that I have been incognito but I am in a grading frenzy so I have to put research activities on the backburner.
