More work on that section today.
I know it's a genus.

Started the last run through of the summaries, got a number of photos transferred (more to do).

Still need to look at the article again.

Opened the submission requirements for the article being referred to a quarterly by a colleague from whom I didn't expect it.

So...OK, not too bad, just gotta keep truckin'..

Dinner and folk dance shortly.

More work on that section today.

Read a small pile and wrote 1034 words. Finished the annotated biblio, now just a little bit of the section left to write. I should be able to finish it tomorrow, I think.
I know it's a genus.

Parasaurolophus

I'll try to finish that section today, but we'll see how it goes.
I know it's a genus.

Done! We'll see what else I manage today. I suppose I should start a whole other section. Sigh.
I know it's a genus.

I've started the next section of comments.

However, I'm taking off 15 min. to do a different kind of research: we've decided that, for the family Zoom call, we'll "visit" each others' homes on Google ground view.

I've just gotten all the addresses to look up in advance so it will go smoothly on Saturday AM.

I'm also going to try to patch my cousin from Belgium into the call. That should really be fun!

(Tee-hee...)

OK, back to work...

December tasks:

  • Complete book chapter draft - due January 31, I need to write the conclusion
  • Polish draft of paper #1
  • Make some progress on getting paper #2 off the ground
  • Revise paper #3 for resubmission
  • Conduct interviews related to new project that I am launching with co-authors
  • Continue developing book proposal, based on data collection project that has been ongoing (RAs working on this)

Stretch goals for December:

  • Submit paper #1 to a journal
  • Submit paper #3 to a journal
  • IRB for ongoing project
  • Think about new projects

Progress has been made on all of the things on my non-stretch list and I don't expect to make more progress on them until January, so I'm crossing them off. If I do manage to do anything more, it will be related to getting paper #3 off to a journal (a stretch goal) - but I doubt this will happen given co-author schedules and my own holiday plans.

Summaries done.

G'maps done (for now, there will be more).

Article? Yeah, better do some work on that.

Got bogged down in wrapping and addressing and....sigh.

Teaching now.

Maybe a bit of work after that.

More sectioning today.

Read three articles and wrote a few hundred words, but this is a tough section.

Read one, and wrote about 1000 words. I should probably be able to finish off this section with one more writing session, provided there's time to read, too, but we'll see whether that's tomorrow or not.

Normally I'd take the day (indeed, all weekends and more) off, but since the hatchling is gonna sleep on me anyway, I figure I may as well do a bit of sectioning.
