Either I'll start a new section, or I'll get things set up for the next few. I suppose the latter might be a better idea, even if it feels less productive.
I know it's a genus.

I have a couple of things I'd like to work on this week, but nothing too pressing.

Week of December 26 goals:

1. Finish research/note taking and actually draft this new journal article.
2. Read anything that looks interesting at any point I feel like it.
3. Apply for a few jobs with January deadlines.

Have a good week everyone!

It's time to actually do the real things:

1. Finish medieval article, submit it.

2. Get Ppt mounted, even just as a trial run, and see what happens; rework PR materials to include it

3. Re-tool, slightly, the blog post unexpectedly suggested for a quarterly journal entry and send it in

4. Plan next term's theory class trajectory, start the cumulative Ppt for that now.

5. One conference submission abstract, maybe (might be distracting, or useful continuity: decide).

Did both. Should manage to finish a section tomorrow.
I know it's a genus.

I'll try to finish that section today.

Did more on no. 1.

Need to contact my web-person about no. 2.

Need to start earlier in the day to do 3, 4, and 5 tomorrow.

Dinner, go feed the kitties, and since it's supposed to be icy and rain tonight, I think I'm going to stay there and come back tomorrow to avoid slippery sidewalks. So--end of the working day, maybe? Hmmm...

I'll try to finish that section today.

Finished it this morning. Then I started reading for a new one, but the hatchling barely napped so that got scuppered.
I know it's a genus.

Gotta do what I can on a new section today.

Gotta do what I can on a new section today.

Wrote about 700 words and read two articles. I also remembered that I needed to remind some panelists to send me abstracts soon.
I know it's a genus.

Parasaurolophus

Gotta go to town today, so won't get much done. Just a little bit around the edges.
I know it's a genus.

Prepping both articles.

I hope no-one here wrote the insane, insidious, insipid, list of light-hearted/light-headed insults that passes for a style sheet on the journal for which no. 2 has been recommended (so I think I should send it...).

It's enough to make one re-consider their submission....

But I will dutifully ignore the innuendoes and adhere to the spirit of the law--just not the letter.

Read two articles and wrote them up in my annotated biblio.

I spent today revising an article manuscript. I was just planning to edit the piece for clarity, but noticed a data problem, so now I'm knee deep in the dataset. I'll probably keep working on it through the evening, as I think this will bother me all night if I let it go till tomorrow.

mamselle

Got three pages of edits on one article done. Fewer left--only 6--than I'd thought, but the notes also need attention, so....excelsior.

All those other things still need to be done, too....

It's my partner's birthday, so work time will be somewhat curtailed. I'll do what I can on this section--it really just needs a day when I have a few hours to finish it, but we'll see. It'll either be done today or tomorrow, and that's fine.
I know it's a genus.
