With luck, will finish this section today.

1200 words and done. On to the next. Read the first article.
I know it's a genus.

I scoured the journal's web site and the only contact it says to use is the editor. I emailed the editor Monday regarding the manuscript submitted back in November that has not been assigned yet. No response yet. I am not sure how long to wait for the editor or portal status to change (now at 10 weeks since submission) before withdrawing and submitting to another journal. This journal just published an issue in December so I am guessing it is fairly active. I also served as a guest reviewer for it last year. I am thinking about sending another email towards the end of the next week if the editor does not respond before then.

I scheduled two more participant interviews today for ongoing study already in February! I also made more progress on the manuscript revision, then sent my coauthor a reply to the email I sent hu on Monday since hu never responded. I put a bulleted list of revisions hu needs to help me with (e.g., add hu's recent work to lit review per reviewers' request).

Guess I need to read a bunch today.

Also reading, in part because it's all my benumbed.post-class/end-of-the-week brain can do....

I certainly don't have enough little grey cells left to rub together to make a productive fire..

Absorption is just about my speed right now...

Guess I need to read a bunch today.

Read five, including a 54-page whopper. But three were duds, so today turns out not to have been all that productive, actually. Sigh.

Not much is likely to get done today, so I'll aim to read one...

A nearly-done first draft with all the loose ends at least catalogued, highlit, and necessary questions emailed out.

I hope the article is satisfied, but it probably won't be until I finish it. They can be so insistent about these things...

The other piece (the one that has been bumped up to a larger journal) will get more attention, but I'm still grumpy about it, although it may end up not being so hard to add to and finish.

I was just thinking I was done with it...!

Sigh.

OK, dinner.

Read three (one was very, very short).

I should start writing today. Time will be short, unfortunately.

One of my queries to a friend netted some useful reading so I'm doing that now, then a summary, then start boiling it all down.

Wrote about 800. Hope I can finish it tomorrow, but everything would need to go my way.
