Monthly report:

Quote from: Parasaurolophus on February 01, 2022, 08:30:04 AM
February:

  • Write 7-10 sections.
  • Create and submit panel proposal (gotta write my abstract plus the general summary/proposal).
  • Write up REB report.
  • Find referees for three conference papers.

Wrote 7 sections, which means the book is now 74% done, with two months to go for the last 26%. I'll definitely finish it in time; whether I'll have a chance to revise it before submitting is another matter.

Whew!
I know it's a genus.

February Goals:

  • Make progress on book proposal
  • Make progress on paper #1 with colleague
  • Start sketching out plans for paper #2 (maybe #s 2 and 3) with colleague
  • Turn around conditionally accepted paper
  • Revise book chapter based on comments from editor

Stretch goal:
  • Start thinking through book proposal #2

I'm content with my progress on all these things, in what was a very busy month

Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.

Reprove not a scorner, lest they hate thee: rebuke the wise, and they will love thee.

Give instruction to the wise, and they will be yet wiser: teach the just, and they will increase in learning.

For purposes of closure!

This month, I am determined to finish revising and resubmitting an article that due to the pandemic and lack of library access has been lingering for-bloody-ever.

- incorporate material from book 1
- incorporate material from book 2
- incorporate material from article 1
- revisit and smooth entire narrative
- resubmit
