Starting a new section today.

Wrote 400 words, figured out the biblio, and read 4.5 articles. Not bad--I wasn't feeling great about it all this morning, so.
I know it's a genus.

Co-Authored Paper 1 (finally!) got an R&R today. We're just 11 days shy of the fourth year since we first wrote and submitted it. It's quite a good paper, really, just a little off the beaten path. On the other hand, that's now one more thing for me to do, as if I didn't have more than enough already!

Today: continuing that new section. I'd like to be in position to more or less finish tomorrow or early Friday.
I know it's a genus.

I appreciate knowing this, thank you for sharing...I thought I was the only one who had papers submitted and revised and re-submitted for years.

Congratulations! That is wonderful news. Yesterday I did my final interview with a participant for the study that is being presented in June.
One of my mentors died yesterday, and it has been really difficult for me to process because I am so busy that if I take any time stuff will just pile up.
Today I finally had reserved time for my long-term project and used equipment my department purchased for me and my students to use. It was incredible because the first thing I saw this morning was an editorial from my mentor in an old journal. That made the day better.

Thanks! But I'm so sorry for your loss.

Today: working on this section. Maybe finishing if I'm lucky, though I doubt it. An impromptu trip to town has significantly cut down on my work time today.

An errand has delayed me, but I've

a) Started the file on the book review, and will take it with me to read overnight since I'm going to go stay with the kitty I've been feeding so I don't have to navigate ice and snow tonight and tomorrow until its people get home.

b) Did a checklist of the work, due-dates, and outreach efforts needed for each of the projects on my docket.

c) Starting now on the article-that-wants-me-to-finish-it-soonnow.

d) Started the Ppt for the 4/29 talk

e) Will do a tiny bit more on the 3/28 Ppt updates before I do c and d, 'cause those are quick and will be fun.

Teaching at 6:30, moving to the kitty's house after that.

Managed about 1500 words. Nearly done; another couple hundred to go, plus an article to read. I did also touch up another, which was nice.

The main task today is finishing this section. It'd be nice to start the next, too.

At the kitty's house.

Opened the other files after my 10 AM student, but a necessary account transfer chewed up the afternoon. At least one thing was accomplished, though.

(e): Done while waiting  on the phone for 10 Verizon agents to sort out a telephone data transfer: finished.

I managed to finish scanning stuff for "part 1" of my long-term project today! It is crazy how long it took me to find time but I was able to accomplish a lot in two days.
