The main task today is finishing this section. It'd be nice to start the next, too.

Done! Wrote ~900 words, read three articles (two for the new section, one of which is gonna get binned).
I know it's a genus.

February Goals

  • Work with colleague and student on manuscript revision to submit to a new journal
  • Continue working on long-term project with students
  • Finish interviews with participants for new study tied to conference proposal submitted for summer convention
  • Finalize manuscript revision with subfield colleague and resubmit to journal by deadline in February

Stretch Goal

  • Start working on fun commentary piece with two colleagues

I did a little on goal 1 but blocked out time this coming week to work on it. I also made a lot of progress on goal 2. I met the last two goals, and did not get to my stretch goal. I am quite pleased with my February considering I had to review eight potential textbooks for a new summer course this month!

March Ppt. done...I didn't feel like working on more complex stuff, but I could open that file and play with it, and now I don't have to worry about it further.

So--win-win.

Mostly reading needs doing today.

Read 4.5 articles. Not great, but not bad--I'm still on track to finish this section by the end of the month, I think.

Setting up to finish the section tomorrow, submitting the panel proposal.

Planned writing had to wait while I undid Google's nefarious scheme to copy all my photos again, after I already deleted them out of Drive once.

Dinner now; a workplan for the week will follow.

Good progress, and submitted the proposal.

300 words on the diss today (and 300 on the prospectus) for a total of 3,700 for the month. There now exists a complete draft of Chapter 2.

Since I've done much less background reading for Chapter 3 than I had for 1 and 2, I expect to focus more next month on the prospectus, revising Chapters 1 and 2, and reading around for Chapter 3.

Way to go on the proposal, Parasaurolophus!

Last day of the month.

I'm going to have to go back and pull up my list and see where things are.

Can I get at least one more thing done today??

Hope so.

I got one more paragraph fixed, two to go, so maybe this will get done!
