Mostly writing today. I doubt I'll finish, but finishing tomorrow morning would be good.

Making good progress towards getting another page of notes distilled out.

Stopping now, early lunch, then digging into the Ppt and related tables and texts.

Down another page, now the real weed-pulling begins: citations that have been hard to find, etc. up next.

Students and class plans the rest of the day; the article and the mini-communication may have to wait until next week (while the Ppt is put in order for 4/29).

May 1. There's still some writing to be done after the last section, but it'll just be intros for each part of the book.

My subfield colleague started working on our revision yesterday so I took a look at hu's initial suggestions today and we are moving forward. I saw my student on campus and asked hu about the progress of our rejected manuscript revision. Hu promised to work on it Monday and then follow up. We have the goal to submit before the end of the month. Otherwise it was a limited day - I attended a fantastic lecture on campus and a committee meeting that was interesting. It was a great way to end my week!

Finished, planned out most of the last section, read 2.5.
