I'm swamped with teaching for the next month, but I hope to do the following:
- Make progress on paper #1 with colleague
- Make progress on paper #2 with colleague
- Revise and resubmit book chapter
- Revise paper for late-April workshop/conference - maybe submit to journal as well
- Revise and (if time permits) submit paper #3 with colleague

Stretch goals (these will take center stage this summer):
- Get two new papers off the ground
- Make progress on book proposal

I'll also need to deal with R&Rs or rejections that come my way

I've done my parts of the revisions for paper #3, although I'm pretty sure we won't have it out to a journal till May.

I've also finished revising the book chapter and will be sending it back to the editors soon.

I'll have to do the slides in full first, and write around them, it seems, since they want the slide deck early.....

Done! That makes 120 547 words (327 Word pages), or twice my dissertation.

Now I need to group them into five parts, write a brief intro to each, and streamline the sections (a few small additions, several cuts).

Now I need to group them into five parts, write a brief intro to each, and streamline the sections (a few small additions, several cuts).

Whew!

120k words is my last three books combined. Admittedly, two of them were short on purpose (I was playing around with form and found a publisher willing to go along with my shenanigans), but still! Well done.

I worked on revision with subfield colleague due mid-May. I finally heard from my two coauthors on the revision due early May. Unfortunately, I will not get to see it until the day before it is due after the second author gets hu's turn. I am a little frustrated but at the same time, I did so much work on the previous revision that hu needs to put more into it. I just hate rushing up to a deadline so I wish I could get more than half a day with it before we must resubmit. My student worked on rejected manuscript today and asked me to look at it, so I did additional work but hu is on the right track. Hu wanted to submit this before the end of the month, but that is not looking very likely.
