Today, I want to read my quota, make a little progress on the grant application, and make a lot of progress on finishing up the course stuff.
I know it's a genus.

So far, meeting page goals, editing is going decently.

Did all three. Most importantly, I powered through my quota and finished that dreadful book.
I know it's a genus.

Blah, have to record some videos today.

If I have any time left in the day, I'll work on the grant, I guess.

I feel a bit guilty as I did not work on anything for a week as I packed up and starting traveling during my sabbatical. However, I finished a book today that I started a few nights ago that is related to a research/teaching area so I suppose that counts as an accomplishment. Finally, the article with two coauthors was officially accepted and should be out soon. I also found out the organization approved that my book proposal will be considered by the publication board! The board should get it for review tomorrow and I will be sent questions to prepare for the meeting at the end of the month. Tomorrow my spouse and I are going abroad for a week so I will continue to pause working much on projects until next week.

I made major progress today on the empirical revisions for an R&R. I think I may get this turned around ahead of schedule, if I can avoid getting hung up on other obligations.

Plenty of both.

Class stuff today, plus either the grant or starting on the book review.
I know it's a genus.

Likewise!

Except I just discovered that co-author made a goof in his portion of the code. Not a catastrophic goof, but it will require rerunning a bunch o' models, and I worry that this will substantially change our outcomes, and hence require substantial rewriting of Results/Discussion. But then, in an earlier version of this project, I was the one who made a much more catastrophic goof, so it's only fair that the role fall to someone else this time.

Found some more useful material, which ties up some loose ends and reduces the need for speculative text.

More class and grant stuff, maybe something else, too.

Class and grant. Nearly done the grant application, just have to cut a couple of sentences to get to the maximu, three pages, and then fine-tune.
I know it's a genus.
