Another month, another thread.

Monthly goals:

• Get a book chapter drafted up.
• Write a referee report (soon!)
• Check over co-translator's work.
• Publish my last Newsletter.

Stretch:

• Work on a contribution for a collection due late next year.
• Finish up a paper that's 30-40% done.

I might start on the referee report today. Or I might just not to anything at all. We'll see.

I'm hoping to ramp up my productivity for the next 20sh days, since teaching is in the rearview mirror (although there is still some grading to be done).

December goals:

• Make progress on paper #1 with colleague - the plan is to submit to a workshop/conference with a January due date and the paper is basically ready to go, so I doubt this will get much attention
• Make progress on paper #2 with colleagues - the plan is to get it off to the next journal by the end of December; ball is in colleague's court
• Make progress on paper #3 with colleagues - ball is in my court
• Review and submit proofs for book chapter #1
• Finish and submit book chapter #2 w colleague - December due date
• Make progress on my own book project

Next semester's syllabi are due Monday (!), so I'll make a start on that. And then maybe just a spot of reading.

Bugger. My laptop somehow drained and died while I was in the world, so I didn't get to do anything at all.

Forgive my absence and delay in posting. I am in a bit of a funk since losing my colleague and now the shooting at UNLV.
